How to plan this journey

A one-way sightseeing transfer combines a hotel move with an agreed sightseeing route. It avoids returning to the same city simply to collect bags, but it is not an unlimited day of detours. Send both hotel names and any fixed check-in, dinner or activity reservations so we can judge what fits.

For Sapporo to Furano, decide whether the priority is Biei scenery, one Furano stop or arriving early at your accommodation. Adding the zoo, Blue Pond, flower farms and several meals to the same hotel-transfer day can create a rushed journey. In winter, choose fewer outdoor stops and keep a fallback route.

Asahiyama Zoo + Biei
Choose a realistic route, then check current openings, event dates and road conditions. These are examples, not fixed timetables.
Alphard · up to 6 guests
Recommended for 4 guests with around 4 large suitcases when the third row is folded. With 6 guests, travel with lighter luggage.

A practical model day

An example sequence, not a fixed timetable. We confirm pickup, opening times, daylight and the final route before booking.

  1. Collect your group and all luggage · start from your Sapporo hotel at the agreed time.
  2. One main sightseeing stop · choose Biei or a Furano attraction that fits the season and route.
  3. Lunch and a comfort break · opening days are checked; meals are paid separately.
  4. Drop off at your Furano hotel · allow time for unloading bags, child seats and check-in.

Before you confirm

Jozankei to Lake Toya and Sapporo to Niseko can also be planned with suitable stops. Pass conditions, ski equipment and the exact hotel matter more than a straight-line distance. We will check the operational route rather than promise every requested viewpoint.

Direct airport-transfer starting prices do not automatically cover sightseeing, waiting or a different hotel route. Ask for one written vehicle total showing the agreed service hours and any overnight driver accommodation.

Price guide for your route

This route needs an individual quote. A sightseeing transfer is different from a direct airport transfer: stops, waiting time, the final hotel and the driver's return journey all affect the total.

No advance payment for the vehicle service. Pay the driver in Japanese yen on the day, by cash or card. The only advance payment is the agreed accommodation cost when the driver must stay overnight.

What your quote includes

Included: vehicle, professional driver, fuel, expressway tolls and parking for your agreed route.

Not included: attraction admission, meals and your accommodation.

Day tours include up to 10 hours from your pickup time. Overtime is ¥5,000 per additional 30 minutes.

Multi-day tours are priced day by day. If the driver stays overnight, add accommodation from ¥15,000 per night, depending on the area. Only this driver-accommodation amount is paid by card when booking; book early because rooms can fill up.

Free cancellation until 8 days before travel. Cancellation charges apply from 7 days before travel; the applicable fee schedule is confirmed in your written booking conditions.

Child seats, including rear-facing infant seats and booster seats, can be arranged. Share each child’s age, height and weight when enquiring.

Sightseeing transfers between different hotels or towns are welcome: for example, Sapporo → Asahiyama Zoo → Biei → a Furano hotel, or Jozankei → Lake Toya.

Luggage can travel with your group when the confirmed vehicle has enough space. Keep passports, cash, medication and valuables with you, and send the size of large bags and ski equipment before booking.

Can pickup and drop-off be in different towns?

Yes. Tell us the complete route, hotel addresses, date and desired arrival time. One-way sightseeing is available by individual quote; it is not limited to airport journeys.

Do I need to pay in advance?

No advance payment is required for the vehicle service. Pay your driver in JPY on the day, by cash or card. Only agreed driver accommodation for overnight trips is paid by card when booking.

Are your vehicles and drivers licensed and insured?

Our journeys use licensed commercial passenger vehicles with green number plates, professional drivers holding Japan’s Class 2 driving licence, and passenger liability insurance. Ask us for the operating-company details if you would like to check them.

Does the driver speak English?

Drivers use everyday conversational English and translation apps. Our dedicated English-speaking team handles planning and support before and after travel. A fluent tour guide is not automatically included.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation is free until 8 days before travel. Fees apply from 7 days before; the full fee schedule is provided with your booking conditions before you confirm.
